What a thrill to have Twist Collective accept my sweater idea for their Winter '09 issuet.

Inspired by the decorative patterns of William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement

The sweater is knit in 6 pieces from the bottom up, with front lace panels set off by reverse stockinette.

Lace detail at sleeve cuffs, center back


Finished measurements: Chest sizes 33 (37,41, 45, 49, 53).
Intended to be worn with 1-2" of ease.

Shown in size 36"

Yarn: Sunday Knits 5-ply yarn: 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 12) 50-gm skeins.
Shown in Angelic (75% merino, 25% angora) in Bone.

Needles: Size 7 US.

Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows - 4" in St st.

Skills used: lace knitting, chart reading, short rows (instructions included)
