Gloves have an openwork cuff. I like the embossed look of the closed-work main stitch pattern

Gloves are knit in the round

Scarf has a closed-work border with openwork as the main stitch pattern. Knit in 2 pieces grafted together

Patterns are included with kits- gloves take 1 skein of any Sunday Knits 3 ply yarn, scarf takes 2. Or order as pdf downloads ($5 each)

Needle: Size 4 US dpn or circular for gloves, Size 5 US for scarf
Notions: Tapestry needle
Gauge: 28 sts = 4" in scarf's main (open) lace pattern using size 5 needles, 31 sts = 4" in glove's main (closed) lace pattern using size 4 needles.
