Olafsdottir
Patterns downloaded before 2/3/12 - the left and right front charts on your Olafsdottir pattern were symmetrical with regard to the slanted flower and ribbon charts. Not that there's anything wrong with symmetry ... however I had knit mine with all the slants going to the right and so patterns have updated to reflect that intention.
Patterns downloaded before 1/12/12 - Right Pocket, Waist shaping - read, "place held sweater sts onto LH needle and join, k3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) ... " Corrected it now reads, " ... join, k0 (1, 1, 2, 2, 3) " for more symmetrical dart placement.
Slithytoves
Patterns downloaded before 11/14/11 were missing the abbreviations for RLI and LLI, which are used in the beret versions.
LLI: Left lifted increase - insert left hand
needle into and lift left hand loop of
stitch 2 rows below stitch last worked (on
right hand needle). Knit into the lifted
loop. (increases 1 stitch.)
RLI: Right lifted increase - insert right
hand needle into the right hand l oop of
stitch below next stitch, lifting it onto
left hand needle. Knit into lifted loop.
(increases 1 stitch.)
Patterns downloaded before 10/24/11 - last column, 4th Dec rnd from the bottom did read, "*Remove marker, k1, pm; ssk, k2, ... , " but should read, "Remove marker, k1, pm; *ssk, k2, ... "
It's the Berries
Patterns downloaded before 11/19/11 - under Front and Neckline Band - read, "pick up and knit 4 sts for 3 rows," but should have read, "3 sts for 4 rows" and were missing instructions to repeat the buttonhole row, which should happen after the second decrease row. Patterns purchased before 7/23/11 - Under Back Shape waist "Rep Dec Row every 4th row 5 more times" should read as, "Rep Dec Row every 4th row 4 more times."
Cambridge
Patterns purchased before 6/22 - stitch count error: Column 2 just before Right Side should read to work until there are 124 (142, 160, 178) sts ...
Patterns purchased before 6/20 had Right Side rows 1, 3 and 5 misordered. For Row 1, work instructions for Row 5, for 3 work 1, and for 5 work 3.
Patterns purchased before 6/14/11 - Row 3 reads, " ... sl, m ... " but should read, " ... sl m ... ".
Patterns purchased before 6/4/11 - Row 10 reads, " ... [work] to 2nd m, p2 ... " but should read, " ... [work] to 2nd m, p1 ... " . Having purled 2 instead of 1 won't make much difference in the appearance of the shawl, but purling 1 will make for a slightly neater ruffle.
To Eyre ...
Outdoors Eyre for patterns before 9/10: has in error in its Back section - a marker is referred to there that isn't in place.
The first line should read, "Place marker ... " instead of "Place second marker ... "
Rows 1, 3, 5, and 7 should read "K16 ... " instead of "Knit to 1 or 2 sts before marker ... "
Patterns purchased before 4/22/11 - Version 2, Right Front, after Row 6 reads, "Rep Rows 1 and 2 ..." but should read, "Rep Rows 5 and 6 ...".
Patterns v.4.15.11 only - stitch count error in Version 1, Left Back, should be 71 (79), and after Row 11 back down to 70 (78).
Tapestry:
Patterns purchased before March 16, '11 - Left Front neckband, RS should read, "P1, k3" on RS. Right Front neckband should read, "K1, p3" on WS.
Milkweed capelet:
Patterns purchased before Jan 11, '11 - The last stitches on Rows 25 and 49 on Back and Right Front Charts should be ssk, not k2tog
Eves Ribs - long sleeve with flare:
Patterns purchased before Jan 2, '11 only: Page 3 column 1, Rows 10 and 11 are misnumbered and should read as "Row 9" and "Row 10."
Shawl-Collar Shawl:
Patterns purchased before Dec 25, '10 only: Chart Row 33, St 53 should be k2tog, St 37 should be ssk; Row 10, Sts 33 and 57 should be purl sts. Updated editions available on request.
Wishbones beret:
Patterns purchased before Nov 30, '10 only: 1st column of instructions, line 14, should contain a "p2" before "rep from * to m ... "
Milkweed long jacket:
Some patterns purchased before Jan 11, '11 - The last stitches on Rows 25 and 49 on Back and Right Front Charts should be ssk, not k2tog. Left front: Before shoulder shaping end on WS; shoulder shaping does begin on RS.
Patterns purchased before Nov 30, '10 only - Page 4, Row 8 states to work cable chart "over 14 sts", but should read "over 12 sts."
Patterns purchased before Nov 27, '10 only - Left Front chart Row 32, the last st should be a purl, and the 3rd from the left should be a knit.
Right Front, Set up Row should have a "pm" after the "k2" and "Remove markers" after completing decreases. A clarification: Under Left front, when beginning lapel and neckline shaping, continue to work slip-stitch edging as previously.
Patterns purchased before Nov 24, '10 only - call for the Right Cable on the Right Front and Left Cable on the Left Front. It should be right on left and left on right. Patterns purchased before Nov 19, '10 only - are missing Left Cable symbols in the legend and abbreviations list. They are the reverse of Right Cable abbreviations.
Revised patterns are always available on request.
Little Riding Hoodie:
Patterns purchased before Dec 7, '10 hare an error on pg 2, col 3, under Cable pattern for Right front: LC should be worked after 12, not 10 rib stitches.
Patterns purchased before Sept 14, '10 only - are missing a description of Sunday short row technique, which can be found here.
Little Riding Hoodie - 17/25 gauge:
Patterns purchased before Nov 19, '11 Under Hood, column 3 line 2 is redundant and should be ignored.
Little Riding Hoodie - 20/27 gauge:
Patterns purchased before Oct 5, '10 only - have a typo on Pg 2, col 1: The line "Work 2 more rows of rib and patt as previous 2 rows" was printed twice. Once would have been enough.
Patterns purchased before Sept 9, 2010 only - under Toggle buttons, read to cast on using 2 strands of yarn. In fact, only 1 strand should be used.
Pueblo Stole:
In the notes at the beginning, under Decreases reads, "At end of every other even-numbered row ..." should read, "At end of every other odd-numbered row ..."
Leaf Shadows Fingerless Gloves:
Rnd 22: The stitch count is 48, not 46.
Right glove: After "Work Rnds 35 and 36 ..." should read, "P1. Place marker."
A clarification for left glove: The purlwise increase at the end of the 3rd repeat in Rnd 36 is the first stitch, the welt stitch, of Rnd 37. It doesn't need to be worked again in Rnd 37.
Angel Wing Sweater:
Some versions printed from July-November -09 may have a line missing. On the front page, at the end of column 1, under Back Armhole shaping, after the line that reads, "p2tog, work to last st, p1." there should be a line that reads, "Rep dec row every row 1 (1, 1, 3, 3, 3, " ... (cont on next line) "5, 7, 11) more times."
For sizes 42-52 only: on the back, the 3 Folded Wings Chart segments are flanked by 4 narrow Cable Chart segments. Instructions indicate that the 1st cable segment is the Right Cable Chart, and the other 3 are the Left Cable Chart. Better symmetry is obtained by having the cable charts alternate: Right Cable, Left Cable, Right Cable, Left Cable.
Likewise on the sleeves, the first cable chart to work is the Right Cable Chart, followed by the Left Cable Chart.
Under Sleeves: "Size 45" should read "Size 44."
Adam's Ribs Cap-Sleeve Wrap:
A clarification - Column 2 Row 3: BO 4 sts while cont in patt.
For patterns purchased before Oct 22, 2010, the number of rows to work before beginning the first shoulder and after the 2nd one are written incorrectly for sizes S, L, and XL.
Before the Right Shoulder, the pattern reads, "Cont to work patt over 63 (62, 63, 62) rows ... ", but should read, "Cont to work patt over 56 (62, 70, 76) rows ... " and after the Left Shoulder and armhole it reads, "Work full patt over 61 (62, 61, 62) rows ... ," but should read, "Work full patt over 54 (62, 68, 76) rows ... ,"
A clarification - under Right Shoulder: After placing 36 sts on holder for collar, next row will begin at shoulder. Beg with p2 edge sts as usual, then, if working an even-numbered pattern row, knit in the knit sts and purl in purl sts; if working an odd-numbered pattern row, work 12 rib sts (Scn B) then work Scn A alternating with Scn B to end of row. This will maintain the continuity of the stitch pattern, even though you're starting and ending in the middle of it.
A correction - Under Right back sleeve, second column: "cont working just sleeve for 2 rows should read, "cont working just sleeve for 4 (4, 6, 6) rows." Sorry about that!
Rippling Ribs Vest:
For pattern purchased before Jan 10, 2011: Under Right Front and Left Front, just before Front Shaping, "work patt and rib for 25 more rows" should read, "work patt and rib for 23 more rows."
For patterns purchased before Dec 10, 2008: For the Left Front and Right Front, under Front Shaping, 15th row down, "Total sts to dec: 12 (13, 15, 17, 20, 23)" should read, "Total sts to dec: 24 (26, 30, 34, 40, 46)
Sunday Scarf:
Under Glossary: pf/kb should read purl in front then knit in back of stitch
Lotus Tee:
On the inside page, far left column, under Right Front Shoulder Shaping, it reads:
"RS: Work up to last 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) sts, turn. (WS rows: Purl)
RS: K2, cd-R, work up to 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) sts before previously turned st, turn.
RS: K2, cd-R, work up to 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) sts before previously turned st, turn..."
but should read:
"RS: Work up to last 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) sts, turn. (WS rows: Purl)
RS: Knit up to 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) sts before previously turned st, turn.
RS: Knit up to 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) sts before previously turned st, turn..."
No decreases in those two rows. Sorry about that.
