All That Jazz

All That Jazz is a jam of syncopated stripes, geometric mosaic, texture patterns, and picot edges

The shawl begins with a provisional cast-on, and is worked flat from end to end, with a picot bind-off finishing both end and beginning. The colorwork is mosaic stitch, so only one color is used at a time.

The instructions are easily modified to change either the width or the length, as I did for this scarf, where I reduced the cast-on by 30 stitches and also added 24 rows to the stripe sequence.

Full of interesting progressions, this simple shawl will keep your needles tapping!
