The secret to its depth - and its reversibility - is a unique double cable stitch pattern. Fun!

Finished Size: 29" / 73.5 cm around by 10" / 25.5 cm deep.

To modify circumference, work more or fewer stitch repeats.
To modify depth, work more or fewer row repeats.

Yarn: 3 skeins Sunday Knits 5 ply yarn (137 yds / 125 m per 50g skein):
Angelic (75% merino 25% angora), Eden (100% merino), Nirvana (92% merino 8% cashmere), or Brigadoon (100% merino tweed).

For a softly draping cowl as shown, the fabric must be loosely knit. The yarn used here typically works up at 17- 18 sts per 4" using US needles size 7-8. Substitute any similar- gauged worsted weight yarn.

Needles and notions: Circular or double-pointed Size 9 US / 5.5 mm, 2 cable needles, tapestry needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge: 16 sts = 4" in Stockinette stitch.
