Sunday Knits 3 ply (sport weight) yarns, including any combination of blends: Brigadoon, Nirvana, Eden or Angelic (about 245 yds per 50-gm skein). I used 17 different colors; 1130 (1240, 1340, 1460) (1530, 1670, 1760) (1850, 1990, 2130) yds total.
Kits (link at bottom of page) are available if you'd like to duplicate my colorway. But I also encourage you to create your own! Select any number of colors that look great together, and then arrange them from light to dark. The pattern instructions show you how.
Or make Chiaro Scuro with Spincycle Dyed in the Wool yarn, where each skein is unique and has a wide range of hues and values, like this one in Ghost Ranch.
