Lovesee Road

Lovesee Road is my road, the road I live on. It's my road home ... and the perfect name for my new sweater, which, like my space here on this road, is relaxed and familiar, a comfort and a joy.

Lovesee the sweater is worked in a pretty basketweave rib, with a companionable textured rib shawl collar.

It is knitted from the bottom in pieces and seamed, although it could easily be worked in one piece to the underarms, eliminating selvedge stitches.

A simple shift in stitch pattern creates a subtle motif in back.

Handy pockets are knit in.

Shoulders are dropped, shaped with short rows and finished with a three-needle bind off.
