Mia Francesca

Ever since designing my Old Town, I've been wanting to do another modular-style cardigan, but in a plumper yarn and with plenty of ... but not too much ... cabling.

Like Old Town, Mia Francesca is worked from the top down, and the only seams are under the sleeves, but those could be eliminated too if one wishes to knit the sleeves in the round rather than flat as I did.

And also as with Old Town, there are yokes front and back and short-row sleeve caps.

There's an interesting woven or plaited cable worked down the sleeves ...

... and another group of woven cables whittling the back waist
