MIlkweed long jacket.

Sometimes I see a stitch pattern I like and attempt to duplicate it, usually with variations, so that it has it's own schtick. Sometimes the variations take on a life of their own, evolving over days or even weeks. That was the case with this cable and lace combination. It turned into something quite dramatic and yet earthy, refined, but not restrained. I love it so much I'll be doing a few projects with it. This is the first, a long jacket.

A seed stitch border curves around, up the front bands, and around the short-rowed shawl collar.
