Mrs Grimmet's Weskit

Mrs. Grimmet is my local style guru. I borrowed some ideas from her wardrobe, and the result is this cowl-neck, cabled, sideways-knit pullover. It was a fun knit, and turned out so wearable!

The pullover is worked in one piece from side to side.

Knitting begins under one arm with a provisional cast-on, and ends with a graft. I used some scrap yarn to create a path for my graft to follow ... a kind of a grafting cheat that works great (a photo tutorial is linked).

Cowl and bottom ribbing are picked up and knitted.

Sleeves are knitted in the round, with sleeve caps shaped using short rows.
