Ophelia - a few color ideas

ophelia pullover knitting pattern

The sample above was knit with Sunday Knits Eden artisan Graphite for the main color, paired with Spincycle's Dyed in the Wool Pick Your Poison, and Nocturne All Nighter and Night Moves for contrast colors. What's not to like!

But of course you'll want to make Ophelia uniquely your own, and there are so many wonderful possibilities for this sweater.
Here are a couple of ideas I'd toyed around with for my own sample:

This swatch used Sunday Knits 3 ply yarns: Nirvana Berry* with (top to bottom) Nirvana Sage*, Angelic Aqua*, Eden Bay, Angelic Moth, Angelic Nut, Eden Moss*, and then more Nirvana Sage*. The asterisked colors are small batch artisan-dyed.

This one used Sunday Knits Brigadoon 3 ply Pebble with (top to bottom) Brigaoon Cloudy, Brigadoon Hazy, Eden Cielo.

More Sunday Knits color combinations that I'd love to see knitted up, and you can get kits for these here:

Brigadoon mulberry with Brigadoon Seafoam, Brigadoon Aqua, Brigadoon Sage, Brigadoon Thyme, and Brigadoon Caper.

Eden dove with Brigadoon Buff, Eden Blush and Brigadoon Mesa.

Brigadoon Bark with Brigadoon Turmeric, Moss, Thyme and Relic.

Sunday Knits and Spincycle sport-weight yarns work up at the same gauge, and although in temperament they are polar opposites - one soft and hazy, the other crisp and distinct - throw them together and they sing like a pair of love birds!
Here are some tempting pairings of Sunday Knits and Spincycle yarns
and you can get background-color-only kits, including pattern, here:

Sunday Knits Eden artisan Lagoon with Spincycle Dyed-in-the-Wool: Grumpy Birds, Deep Bump, & Shift.

Sunday Knits Eden artisan Indigo with Spincycle Dyed-in-the-Wool: Family Jewels, Lapis & Overshadow.

Sunday Knits Nirvana charcoal with Spincycle Dyed-in-the-Wool: Mississippi Marsala, Wololo & Ghost Ranch.

These are just a few ideas to get you started. Have fun exploring the possibilities. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Happy knitting!
