Shawl-Collar shawl

Shawl-collar lace pattern in a crescent-shaped shawl, with shaping worked into the charted lace pattern

with additional instructions for an infinity cowl in the same stitch pattern.

While the shawl is knit flat, the cowl is worked in the round, with a twist.

Not being, myself, much of a shawl person, I love to wear mine as a scarf.

Finished size: 82" long for shawl;
42" around at narrowest circumference, 70" around at widest circumference, for cowl;
10" wide for both.

Yarn: 3 skeins Sunday Knits 5 ply yarn (137 yds / 125 m per 50g skein): Angelic (75% merino 25% angora), Eden (100% merino), Nirvana (92% merino 8% cashmere), or Brigadoon (100% merino tweed) for either shawl or cowl.

Needles & Notions: Size 9 US / 5.5 mm, stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rows = 4" in pattern stitch.
