This stole is inspired by the beautiful colors of the Mountain West, and is the eleventh in my series of Pueblo stoles.
As with all of my pueblo stoles, it is constructed of wide ribs knit on the bias to give it its beautiful drape. And like its sister stole, Yosemite, it's a little wider than most of the others.

The fringe is easy - it's knit in, and because of the fringe, there are hardly any loose ends to weave in later.
I used a fringe twister to finish off my fringe, but it's not necessary ... you can simply add little knots at the ends to give your fringe a little weight.

Construction: Work stole in two sections and graft. Change colors or cut yarn every two rows, using loose ends to make up the fringe.
Finished size: 88" long by 14" wide (does not include 4-5" fringe).
Yarn: Sunday Knits 3-ply yarns (246 yd / 225 m per 50-gm skein): 17000 yds total.
Needles & Notions: Size US 5 (3.75 mm) needles, tapestry needle, crochet hook (any size), a row marker may be helpful.
Gauge: 25 stitches and 28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch. Measure gauge on large washed swatch; adjust needle size if necessary.
Skills used: Increases and decreases, wide rib, Kitchener stitch.
