Stars & Stripes

With twisted-stitch lace rockets, slim stripes and slip-stitch stars, this shawl is an all-American standout.

Knitting begins in the center back, with twisted-stitch lace worked in the round to form a flat square until the shawl reaches it's full width.

From there each side is knitted outward, ending in a dramatic swallowtail border.
